While you're out shopping for back-to-school supplies why not pick up a few extra notebooks, crayons and other essentials for Long Island children in need.

Boomers! Family Fun Center (655 Long Island Ave., Medford) is hosting its annual School Supply Drive during the month of August to help make sure students are prepared for the new school year.

There's a bonus for you as well. Each guest who donates three unopened individually wrapped school supplies with a minimum value of $5 or more will receive one free attraction ticket when you drop off the supplies. The free attraction ticket can be printed out online.

The School Supply Drive runs through Aug. 31. Visit boomersparks.com for more information.

Kids need a little more incentive to do well this school year? Boomers! also features a "Good Grades" promotion. Students can bring in their most recent report card and receive free tokens: Three tokens for each "A" and two tokens for each "B." There's a maximum of 20 tokens per child and the report card must be original and within six weeks from issue date.
