My two-year-old daughter, Maggie, loves to paint. We have washable paint, a watercolor painting set -- you name it, we have it. So when I stumbled upon a new Disney app that not only featured painting but Mickey and Minnie Mouse as well, I knew I had to try it with her.

The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Paint & Play app allows children to be interior decorators and paint everything they see, including Mickey and Minnie. Think of it as a 3-D coloring book with an unlimited number of tools, colors and patterns for kids to choose from. The app also includes stickers as well.

What I liked most was that you can mix colors and learn for example, how blue and yellow make green. Maggie loved the "kitchen" section where she got to paint and design meals for Mickey and the gang, as well as decorate the refrigerator, cabinets and more. She also loved playing with different colors as she designed cupcakes for a bake sale.

Other features include a magic wand that allows kids to turn their paintings into animated, 3-D characters, an in-app camera to save your children's work and the ability listen to music or create your own using the Mousekemusic Player.

Purchase the iPad or iPhone app for $4.99 from the iTunes App store.
