Kids, teens audition Saturday for LI variety show

Auditions for the fifth "Got Talent? Auditions for the fifth “Got Talent? Long Island,” a competition for performers 18 and younger, happen from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Huntington Center for Performing Arts, 310 New York Ave. Another audition is April 27 at Hofstra University.

Comedians, dancers, musicians, singer-songwriters, poets, magicians and others who think they have talent are encouraged to audition. Bands must submit a CD or Flash Drive of their auditions -- no live auditions. Each act must pay a $35 audition fee.

Finalists will compete live at 7:30 p.m. May 31 at the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center at Five Towns College. The grand prize includes a $1,000 cash award and a paid performance at the 49th Annual Huntington Summer Arts Festival.
