An easy way to support families in need after Sandy
The holiday season is officially here and you may be looking for ways to give back, especially in light of the aftereffects of superstorm Sandy on Long Island.
Big City Moms, a social group that connects moms, moms-to-be and families through events and J&R Jr. partnered with Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. (K.I.D.S.) to create the Ultimate Baby Registry to help provide necessary support to families in need.
Each product purchased from the registry will be sent to K.I.D.S. for distribution to families in need.
In addition, J&R Jr. is offering a 10% discount on featured items through the month of December and will be setting up a donation collection site for new items purchased from their store in Manhattan (1 Ann St. at Park Row).
Some of the brands include Quinny, Britax, Maclaren, Skip Hop, Phil & Teds, Dapple, 4Moms, Sage Spoonfuls and more.
Use the code KIDS10 when checking out to receive the 10% discount.
