American Girl's Doll of the Year 2014 is a dancer
Meet American Girl’s 2014 Girl of the Year doll: Isabelle, age 10, who studies ballet at a performing arts school in Washington, D.C., and loves to design ballet costumes.
The 18-inch-high doll is available for only one year. She has long blond hair with removable tips highlighted pink as well as mix-and-match dance fashions. Three fiction books complement the doll — “Isabelle,” “Designs By Isabelle” and “To the Stars, Isabelle.” A nonfiction section in the back of the Isabelle books features real girls who have creative interests.
A movie based on Isabelle’s stories will premiere on DVD from Universal Studios Home Entertainment this summer.
The doll and “Isabelle” paperback book retail for $120. Other accessories and related activities are available at americangirl.com.
