School events are fun for everyone
At my school, we have all different kinds of fun events. All the students love when we have the obstacle course set up for PE class in the gym. We have a rock wall and rope climbing, cargo net, slides, a balcony jump (where you leap off a ledge about 10 feet high onto a mat), many kinds of bars and a rope swing.
Another event is Hobby Talent Night. You get to demonstrate your talent to everyone. Talents range from demonstrating tae kwon do to showing your stamp collection. My teacher, Rob Owen, gets up to sing in a band with a few other teachers.
An end-of-the-year favorite is Field Day. The kids in your class who have the same color are on your team. There are many different stations. We play Just Dance, make bubbles out of soap, try our luck shooting baskets, Hula-Hooping and more.
Another fun activity is the Brain Show. You compete against others in the school answering questions, then doing dances to earn points. It is hilarious, and you have to be able to think fast!
An early year favorite is the Fall Festival. In October, we set up bouncy houses, games, and a big table of food and desserts. The food is so delicious. Our school is awesome.
