Review: 'The Dragon at the North Pole'
If you like fictional books about dragons, read Mary Pope Osborne's "Dragon Keepers #6: The Dragon at the North Pole" (Random House). This book is about 10-year-old Jesse, who stays with his cousin, Daisy, in Goldmine City while his mom is away. Daisy and Jesse find a dragon egg and it hatches into a green dragon that they named Emmy. One morning Jesse and Daisy go to the barn and Emmy is nowhere to be found. They find a note saying that Emmy has gone to the North Pole to help Santa Claus. So Jesse and Daisy set off to find Emmy. On their way, many unexpected things happen and continue to unravel during their time in the North Pole. These make this book well worth reading. I enjoyed this book very much because I like the snowy time of year. I hope you read it and enjoy it as much as I did.
