'Monster High: Ghoulfriends Just Want to Have Fun'
I read the book "Monster High: Ghoulfriends Just Want to Have Fun," by Gitty Daneshvari (Little, Brown Books). It is exciting, interesting and mysterious. It's the second book in the series. The story begins in September at the start of the school year. A trio attends a school called Monster High. The main characters are monsters Robecca Steam, Venus McFlytrap and Rochelle Goyle. They are roommates and good friends. The classes they attend teach monster skills such as catacombing and home ick. This book is not only about their friendship but also about their ability to be detectives.
During the semester, strange things happen, like the girls finding a doll of doom (with a warning note), warning graffiti on the walls and a white cat (bad luck). They also experience a power outage and hear mysterious conversations. The girls try to put the clues together to discover who is causing these strange events.
They don't know if it is a real problem or just someone playing pranks. They suspect Miss Flapper, Miss Sue Nami, the trolls, the normies and Cyclops.
I will not reveal the last event of the book but I can tell you it is a real cliffhanger.
I recommend this book to girls age 9 and older.
