Girls Scouts are fun, educational
Girl Scouts is a fun place for girls from age 5 to an adult leader. Girl Scouts is where girls learn about peace on Earth, budgeting, other countries and more.
Whenever a Girl Scout accomplishes something, she receives a badge that goes on her vest or sash to represent what she did and that she was proud of doing it.
Girl Scouts take long hikes and learn about nature. Some troops go on fun sleepovers. Not just any sleepovers, though. Girl Scouts go to places like the New York Hall of Science. They could have the whole place to themselves so they can do fun things. They could go to the park and into the spaceship on display. The girls also could do arts and crafts -- like they could print paper butterflies.
We also sell Girl Scout cookies. It helps us learn about budgeting. This money goes to the Girl Scout building and to our troop for money for trips.
Every time we sell a certain amount of cookies, we get a prize, from a cookie badge to an iPhone.
When a girl starts Girl Scouts, she won't want to stop. Because you always "make new friends but keep the old. One is silver and the others gold. A circle is round, it has no ends, that's how long I wanna be your friend!"
