'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang 3' is loads of time-travel fun
The book "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang 3: Over the Moon," by Frank Cottrell Boyce (Candlewick Press) is the third book in the "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" adventures. This book is a lot of fun. It's almost like "Chitty" meets "Back to the Future."
The book is about two families, the Tootings and the Potts. The story really starts rolling when the Tooting family gets stuck in 1966 with a shiny, newly restored Chitty. Chitty had a time machine that was stolen. Not only was Chitty stolen but little Harry was kidnapped, too. It was time to put the Tootings and the Pottses together to get Chitty back . . . Little Harry too.
I enjoyed the adventure. Let's face it, who doesn't love Chitty? This book is great for boys and girls alike. It is full of adventure and surprises.
The author, Frank Cottrell Boyce, lives in England. Joe Berger illustrated many books and also lives in England. He is an illustrator, editorial cartoonist, as well as an animator.
I completely enjoyed this book and would recommend it to all children. I am definitely on Team Chitty. It's fun and has adventure and time travel. What more could you want?
