'Girls Night Out' at Gurney's Inn
Montauk may be thought of as mainly a summer fun destination, but one of the hamlet’s top year-round resorts is throwing a bash worthy of consideration, despite the late autumn chill that has already set in across the East End.
On Friday, Nov. 8, Gurney’s Inn is throwing its fifth annual “Girls Night Out,” an evening that means drinks, edibles and dancing for all attending – as well as some possible pampering, if desired.
Starting at 7 p.m., guests can pay $50 at the door (or $35 in advance) and enjoy a three-hour soiree that includes complimentary cocktails, wine and hors d’oeuvres, as well as beats (by DJ Dodge) and an auction to be held before the night wraps.
However, anyone willing to pay a bit more can also add on spa treatments (one treatment for $70, two for $100), with the top ticket package ($150) including two treatments, a psychic reading and a gift bag. In addition, those in attendance will be offered a special $199 room rate.
Advance reservations can be made by calling Gurney’s at 631-668-2345. Treatment choices available to ticket holders will be a chair massage, mini manicure and hair touch-up, each 15 minutes in duration. Guests should also wear pink, as the night is to benefit both the Coalition of Women’s Cancers at Southampton Hospital and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. For more information, call Gurney’s or visit gurneysinn.com.
And yes, men are invited to take part as well.
