Description:
The first recommendation about Finn MacCool's is not to go on St. Patrick's Day (otherwise, you'll conclude the rest of the world does). This is the place for a well-poured Guinness or Harp, pub-like in style but better in food, commendable for a simple meal and an upbeat environment. The shepherd's pie is a long-standing favorite, with beef, vegetables and a layer of mashed potatoes. Other popular plates include the pot roast, the corned beef, a big burger and—if Finn’s has it on the menu when you are present—the buttery finnan haddie (smoked haddock fish).
